Blood analysis

Blood testing is a commonly used diagnostic tool. It can be used for screening, monitoring, orienting a diagnosis, or as a pre-anesthetic evaluation (prior to anesthesia).

Blood tests provide us with quick and valuable additional information. Many values can be analyzed on our in-house equipment, so we no longer have to anxiously wait for results from an external lab. Our extensive blood testing lab, equipped with the IDEXX Catalyst One and IDEXX ProCyte One, allows us to analyze nearly everything within 15 minutes. Depending on the results and clinical suspicions, additional parameters may sometimes need to be requested from an external laboratory.

Of course, we aim to perform as many tests as possible ourselves in order to reach a diagnosis quickly and start the appropriate treatment without delay. If any tests need to be sent to an external lab, this will always be discussed with you in advance.
